  • Will fit any circular exhaust with a tail pipe inside diameter from 20-35mm/0.800”-1.380” (5mm/0.196” increments, 3 sizes available)

As the mesh openings are twice the size as our USFS approved Spark Arrestors, these do work with some KTM TPI model bikes. Being that they have no approval, use these Spark Arrestors at your own discretion.  

We offer the following sizes:

  • Round 20 (20.0mm-25.4mm / 0.800”-1.000”)
  • Round 25 (25.5mm-29.4mm / 1.004”-1.157”)
  • Round 30 (29.5mm-35.4mm / 1.161”-1.394”)

2014 Kawasaki KX450F (Round Mesh Spark Arrestor - Kit 30)

The feel and build quality of the spark arrestor is top notch. You can tell that Fisch Moto is dedicated to manufacturing high quality products. The installation was simple just make sure not to over tighten the setting screws as the 2mm **** heads can be delicate. I love the concept as it prevents potential wildfire risks while riding in forested areas. I did notice some differences in my bike’s operation. It was a little hard to get the bike started at first but once I got it going it was okay. In low RPMs you can notice a difference in my bike’s sound but once you pass 25% throttle it starts to sound similar to before. I’ve only been on one ride with it installed so far. Hopefully it was just a fluke that my bike happened to be harder to start after installing the spark arrestor.

Nice concept but reduces exhaust flow

For example the round 20 takes a full 5mm out range and 20-25.4 mm diameter.
However due to thickness of the metal round part of the plug the inner diameter of the plug is actually 18mm, so if you had a 25 mm exhaust its reduced to 18mm this is a vast 7mm reduction is diameter and more importantly 45% in the outlet section area. and this is prior to consider the metal webbing.
