FAQ
Universal Spark Arrestor FAQs
Is the FISCH Moto Spark Arrestor legal for public trails?
Yes, 100%. Our spark arrestors are fully USFS (USDA) approved and stamped. Riding without a spark arrestor is strictly illegal on public land in both the United States and Canada, risking heavy government fines. Our insert keeps you completely legal.
How do I know what size spark arrestor to order?
We offer multiple precise sizes to ensure a perfect fit. You can check our master fitment list directly on the product page, or use a digital caliper to measure the exact inside diameter (ID) of your muffler's end cap outlet to match our sizing options.
How long does installation take and what tools do I need?
Installation takes less than 10 minutes. The universal design fits cleanly inside your existing muffler outlet. Best of all, everything you need is included in the box: the spark arrestor element, required set screws, the correct Allen key, and a vial of Loctite.
Will this universal insert restrict my bike's power?
No. While it perfectly traps dangerous carbon sparks to meet legal guidelines, the high-grade stainless steel element is engineered to maximize airflow. You get full trail compliance without sacrificing crisp throttle response or horsepower.
Yamaha YZ250 E-Starter FAQs
Does the E-Starter kit work with aftermarket flywheel weights?
No. This kit is a true bolt-on solution engineered exclusively to utilize your OEM Yamaha flywheel. This design choice allows you to keep your original ignition timing and power delivery completely stock. It is not compatible with other aftermarket flywheel weights.
How many starts do I get on a single battery charge?
You can expect approximately 180 reliable electric starts on a single charge when using the recommended Antigravity AG-801 battery package.
How much weight does the E-Starter kit add to the bike?
The entire kit adds roughly 9.6 lbs to your machine, battery included. To prevent adding unnecessary bulk while ensuring maximum protection against rocks, roost, and crashes, the housing is entirely CNC-machined from premium 6061 Billet Aluminum.
How difficult is the installation process?
It is a highly straightforward, 100% bolt-on installation that takes about 45 minutes in a standard garage with basic hand tools. No permanent engine case modifications are required. The billet housing also features an integrated vent hose to continuously manage internal moisture and pressure.
